How to customize your phone with modifying framework-res.apk ?

MODIFY FRAMEWORK

Hello everyone , we are going to show how to modify your framework in this article .

1) Go to system/framework/ in your phone .

2) You will see file like framework-res.apk

3) Like below image :- 

4) Copy framework-res.apk file  .

5) Then create a new folder in sdcard called " project " like this :- 

5) Paste framework-res.apk inside project folder then , select " Extract it " option & select Extract to  framework-res/

6) Select like below :- 

7) After extracting you will see like this :- 

8)  Browse to system/build.prop file , Find this line :- 

9) If your above line is same as to my then , your device is HDPI . If your value is 160 then your device is MDPI . Remeber your Device Density .

10) Now browse your sdcard on pc using usb , go to path sdcard/project/framework-res/  , you will see something like this :- 

11) Open res folder , you will find drawable-hdpi & drawable-mdpi folder . Now we will modify/change icons as per density .

12) Download the icons as per your device density :- 

HDPI 

MDPI

13) If your device is HDPI (240) then paste this icons in your drawable-hdpi folder , if your device is MDPI(160) then paste the icons in drawable-mdpi folder .

14) After pasting icons , again come back on this location :- sdcard/project/framework-res/ 

Like this :-

Then press Ctrl+A  , that is Select all , you will see like this :- 

Press right button of mouse and select "Add to Archive"

After that you see something Like this :- 

15) After pressing "OK" you will find new file created : " framework-res.zip" rename it to "framework-res.apk"

16) Now push the file to he same path , i.e system/framework/ here using adb or flash it via CWM  ... Enjoy
